Canadian Peter Polansky went into the final day of the Knoxville Challenger with a chance to come away with two titles as he entered both the singles and doubles championship matches in Knoxville, Tenn.

The 28-year-old, however, was unable to capture both victories. He and teammate Adil Shamasdin cruised into the finals as the No.2-seeded team where they made quick work of Joris De Loore and Ruben Bemelmans, winning 6-1, 6-3.

In singles, Polansky dropped the first set 7-5 to the 18-year-old American Michael Mmoh before rallying back to win the second 6-2. But Mmoh was too much, claiming the third set 6-1 to keep Polansky from earning two trophies that day.

Polansky competed in both the 2009 and 2014 RBC Tennis Championships of Dallas, reaching the Round 16 both years in singles.
